Halfway House video showing importance of activities, aerobics, yoga and exercise. Exercise is particularly important in early sobriety for those coming off opiates. Opiate abuse depletes/retards natural production of dopamine. This in part causes withdrawals. Exercise is an excellent way to kick-start the endocrine system and help the body restart natural production of neural transmissions such as dopamine. This will help eliminate long term withdrawals and stabilize/improve mood & well-being.
